Lenroy Thomas wants a third fight after David Allen suffered a cut in rematch

David Allen's Commonwealth title rematch with Lenroy Thomas ended in a technical draw after the Doncaster heavyweight suffered a nasty cut in the first round.

The Jamaican retained the belt that he won with a split decision points win last May as the ringside physician ruled that Allen could not continue at Sheffield Arena.

After just a few minutes, Thomas lunged forward to unload a body shot and clashed heads with Allen, who sustained a gaping wound above his right eyebrow.

Despite Allen's desperate protests, the fight was waved off after his injury was inspected, and the champion insisted he would offer a third fight to 'The White Rhino.'

"It's very frustrating, I just told Eddie Hearn that we have to do it again," Thomas told Sky Sports.

"Disappointing, all the work I've put in, I'm frustrated. We will just have to go and work on a few things and get better.
