Leicester banger hoping to take his chance on Saturday night
Martin Concepcion has vowed to take his 'big chance' when he challenges British light-middleweight champion Sam Webb on Saturday.
The Leicester banger has endured a roller-coaster career featuring 17 wins and seven losses, but believes his power could cause Webb a few problems at The Troxy in east London.
The current Midlands Area champion has recovered from a bad patch to win four of his last five fights, but got no further than the first round in Prizefighter earlier this year and now faces a 'make-or-break' fight with Webb.
"I cannot make excuses anymore," said Concepcion. "I have learnt my lessons, kept going and put my defeats behind me. This is my big chance.
"I can be hurt, but Sam will have never fought anyone who hits as hard as me.
"I am going into his territory and when I go to London I have to rip the title from in and keep going however tough it becomes."
Webb, 29, shocked Anthony Small to win his crown back in March and is tipped to challenge for European honours next year.

On the same card, Olympic bronze medallist David Price will look to become the first man to stop the durable Belarusian Raman Sukhaterin.
Price is undefeated in seven fights but promoter Frank Maloney is finding it difficult get suitable opponents for the Liverpudlian.
However, he is hoping to land the 27-year-old a title shot in the New Year.
"I am not going to name them, but a couple of good British heavyweights turned down this job," said Maloney.
"It is about making the right fights at the right time for prospects and David will become a serious British title contender early next year.
"People have been critical of David, but there will be no complaints about the opponent I am hoping he will face in January or February.
"The deal is being finalised and I hope to be able to announce it in the next couple of weeks.
"If I was offered a fight against Dereck Chisora I would take it in a heartbeat, and expect David to win."
