Margarito bang on 150lbs limit

Manny Pacquiao weighed in more than five pounds under the limit for his WBC light-middleweight clash with Antonio Margarito in Texas on Saturday night. The Phillipino tipped the scales at 144.6lbs as he prepares to bid for a world title in an eighth weight division. Margarito was right on the 150lbs catchweight limit for the bout at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Pacquiao told ESPN: "I'm trying to gain weight but in my situation - the training, the work I'm doing - I can't add more than that. We focus on speed - I believe speed will be the big factor of this fight and the key." Saturday night's bout will be the second in a row for Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium - he easily outpointed Joshua Clottey at the same venue back in March. Margarito meanwhile is back in the big-time after returning recently from a 12-month suspension imposed in California for having illegal handwraps ahead of his January 2009 defeat by 'Sugar' Shane Mosley.
