American knockout specialist Tye Fields is the latest name on the list for Prizefighter International Heavyweights.
Fields the latest to sign for International Heavyweights
Towering American Tye Fields is the latest addition to the line-up for Prizefighter International Heavyweights.
Fields should provide plenty of drama at Alexandra Palace as the 6ft 8in southpaw has racked up 41 stoppages in his 45 wins, while all of his defeats have also been by knockout.
The 36-year-old, nicknamed 'Big Sky', has been defeated by world-title challengers Michael Grant and Monte Barrett, but he does hold wins over respected fighters such as Bruce Seldon and Maurice Harris.
"I'm delighted to welcome Tye to the Prizefighter International Heavyweights line up," said Matchroom Sport's managing director Eddie Hearn.
"With 45 wins and 41 knockouts, Tye is the perfect choice for the event and fans can expect fireworks from him on May 7."
Field joins compatriot Kevin Johnson, who has only been beaten by Vitali Klitschko, world title challenger Fres Oquendo and unbeaten Irish-based Cuban Mike 'The Rebel' Perez.
UK Prizefighter Heavyweight champion Michael Sprott will fly the flag for Britain, while big-hitting German Konstantin Airich and Frenchman Gregory Tony are also among the competitors.
One fighter is yet to be named for the 18th edition of Prizefighter which offers an £32,000 first prize for the winner.
