Michael Sprott will take on towering American Tye Fields in the first round of Prizefighter International Heavyweights. The sole Briton in the field was pitted against the 6ft 8in giant in the bottom half of the draw when Joe Calzaghe pulled the names out of the hat on Ringside. Should Sprott, who will be conceding more than six inches, come through, he will face the winner of the fourth quarter-final which sees Cuba's Juan Carlos Gomez meet German Konstantin Airich. The first bout of the £32,000 slugfest at London's Alexandra Palace will see Irish-based Cuban, Mike Perez, put his unbeaten record on the line against Fres Oquendo, David Haye's Puerto Rican sparring partner. The other two in the top half of the draw are Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson, who took Vitali Klitschko the distance in 2008, and Frenchman Gregory Tony. FULL PRIZEFIGHTER DRAW
