American expecting to lift Prizefighter trophy

Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson is oozing confidence ahead of the latest installment of Prizefighter - International Heavyweights, on Wednesday. The American is looking to re-establish himself as a world title contender after losing to Vitali Klitschko towards the end of 2009. Johnson claims he is being avoided by the other heavyweights in the United States and last fought in Australia 10 weeks ago. The bookmakers' favourite for Prizefighter is already looking ahead to returning to the UK and facing one of Britain's rising heavyweights. "I'm hoping to knock everybody out and then come back to England and fight somebody bigger and better," he said. "No matter what, I'm definitely going to be heavyweight champion of the world. But this definitely will solidify that I deserve that title shot again. "When I do win I'm going to be hard to avoid. That's why I'm here now - none of the fighters in the United States dare to test or come near me." Promoter Eddie Hearn is looking forward to another action-packed evening at London's York Hall and believes the contest is wide open. "It puts the fun back into boxing, eight big guys looking to throw leather at each other," he said. "A lot of talented guys looking to throw themselves into the world title mix. "You can make a case for any one of the eight. We are going to have some knockouts, there are some big punchers here." Draw
