Surrey-based Pole confident ahead of world title shot

Grzegorz Proksa's WBA and IBO middleweight title fight against Gennady Golovkin will be screened on Sky Sports 4HD at 8.30am on Sunday. The European champion will travel to New York to take on the undefeated Kazakhstan boxer, who will be making his debut Stateside. Proksa avenged the sole defeat on his record when he reclaimed his European strap against Kerry Hope in a rematch between the pair on July 7. The Surrey-based Pole has claimed 21 of his 28 wins inside the distance, although Golovkiin has even more impressive stats, with 20 of his 23 wins coming by way of knockout. "I have no doubt in my mind that I have the ability to knockout Golovkin," said Proksa. "My opportunity to showcase my talents to the world has arrived and I'm not going to let it slip away. "This will be a difficult fight but I believe in myself to come out victorious and I'm going to bring an aggressive game plan for the fans. I'm coming to the US to impress and take home the title."
