Sakio Bika has questioned whether Adonis Stevenson will be able to survive his knockout power.

Bika challenges for Stevenson's WBC light-heavyweight championship on Saturday night in Canada, live on Sky Sports 2 after Fight Night Live from Newcastle.

Stevenson boasts a fearsome resume having avoided defeat in the past five years and stopping 21 of his 25 opponents - yet Bika believes he possesses the ability to dramatically end the champion's reign.

I am very confident that I can handle Adonis’ power but can he handle mine?

“I am very confident that I can handle Adonis’ power but can he handle mine? On April 4th we will see,” said Bika.

“I will show the world that I belong at light-heavyweight when I strip Adonis of the title and become a two-division WBC champion.”

The former super-middleweight title holder has prepared in America for his latest world championship fight as he aims to extend a 32-6-3 record.

“Training has gone well," he said. "Florida was a fantastic place to train; my preparation for this fight has been perfect, I feel strong and I look forward to testing Adonis.”
