There are few people better placed to ask about Ricky Hatton than his sibling, Matthew. So when he says Ricky is in better shape than when he fought Kostya Tszyu, Floyd Mayweather may want to take notice. The boxing brothers will be doing battle for Britain in Las Vegas again on December 8 at 'Undefeated', which can be seen live on Sky Box office. While Matthew continues his rise up the rankings on the undercard against an as yet unnamed opponent, Ricky tops the bill at the MGM Grand with his massive showdown with Mayweather. The Hitman will not only be looking to capture the WBC Welterweight title from Pretty Boy but also his crown as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. When the fight was made Matthew admits he was not sure what the outcome would be but, having trained alongside his brother at the Betta Bodies gym in Manchester, he is adamant that a motivated Ricky will return home with mission accomplished.

Fantastic shape

"He's in fantastic shape," Hatton - who has 32-3-1 record as a professional, told skysports.com. "The sparring has been absolutely fantastic, he's looking really sharp. I know Ricky better than anyone knows him and he's so motivated for this fight. "When it was made I couldn't make my mind up. My heart was saying Ricky but my head was saying something else, but as each week goes by he's looking awesome in the gym. "He looks better than during the preparation for the Kostya Tsyzu fight. He's so confident that he's going to win the fight." The Hattons will not be alone in America with thousands of Brits travelling across the pond to offer their support. The sold out signs have long been posted up at the venue, meaning many fans face the prospect of watching the fight on television in their hotels or in local bars.
Ridiculous
Matthew admits that he has been inundated with ticket requests for his brother's big night. "It's ridiculous," he said. "My phone has never stopped ringing for tickets and some days I've had to turn it off. "The CCTV over there has sold over 15,000 tickets to watch it on a big screen. "Britain is definitely coming to Las Vegas."
