Deontay Wilder should next face Anthony Joshua in a world title unification fight, if he successfully defends his WBC heavyweight against Bermane Stiverne.
For selfish reasons, as a boxing fan, I would rather see Deontay Wilder in with Anthony Joshua, rather than Dillian Whyte.

I just think Whyte needs a couple more fights. I'm not saying he's not good enough and he won't be good enough, but he laboured to a 12-round win at the weekend. He looked okay - I scored him winning most of the rounds - but I don't think he's ready for Deontay Wilder yet.
I would like to see Joshua-Wilder in America. It would be nice to see Joshua get more recognition in the USA. He should be fighting him over there in Las Vegas.
Wilder is the most dangerous one-punch fighter, without a doubt. Joshua has got a lot of stoppages on his record, but he doesn't hit people with one shot and knock them out at world level. He didn't knock out Wladimir Klitschko with one shot and he couldn't put Carlos Takam away, even when he hit him with big punches.
Wilder has got the power that when he hits someone with one shot, you think 'woah.' He puts everything into every punch, swings away, and it's exciting to watch.
Takam is tough, don't get me wrong, but Joshua to me doesn't seem like a guy who has got the one-punch concussive knockout at world level. He hits and he hurts them, and if he catches them sweet, he knocks them spark out. But you don't always catch people sweet at world level.
Wilder has got the power that when he hits someone with one shot, you think 'woah.' He puts everything into every punch, swings away, and it's exciting to watch. You are on the edge of your seat all the way through one of his fights.
He does a lot wrong. He's quite wild, his chin is in the air, he swings and misses by a foot, and leaves his feet behind, but no one's perfect are they?
