'Pretty Boy' could take on the 'Golden Boy' and 'Hitman' again
Floyd Mayweather has refused to rule out a potential rematch with either Ricky Hatton or Oscar De La Hoya.
The undefeated world welterweight champion stunned fans by announcing he would fight seven-foot 450-pound wrestler Big Show at WrestleMania XXIV on March 31.
Having defeated the 'Golden Boy' De La Hoya to take the WBC light middleweight title in May and then reaffirmed his status as the world's best pound-for-pound fighter by bringing an end to Hatton's undefeated record in December, there has been much speculation about his future in the sport.
A rematch with De La Hoya has been pencilled in for September 2008 and Mayweather has remained open to the idea of fighting both of his former opponents.
Future
"We don't know what the future holds, anything is possible. Is it possible? Absolutely," he told
Sky Sports News when asked about potential bouts against Hatton or De La Hoya.
"It's possible some time down the line, but my main focus right now is WrestleMania. Right now boxing is in my rear view mirror.
"Floyd Mayweather loves to go outside the box so please label me as an entertainer, not just a boxer."
Mayweather also wished Hatton well for his homecoming against Juan Lazcano, live on
Sky Box Office on May 24.
"I think Ricky Hatton fought his heart out and we gave the fans their money's worth," Mayweather added.
"Fingers crossed Ricky's ready mentally as well as physically because the fight took a lot out of Ricky Hatton.
"But we are wishing him nothing but the best."
