Tyson Fury takes centre stage in his press conference with Wladimir Klitschko ahead of their bout on October 24.

Wladimir Klitschko says his "fists will talk louder" than Tyson Fury's words come fight night on October 24.

Fury's antics ensured the heavyweight rivals held an explosive London press conference a month out from their clash in Dusseldorf.

Triple world champion Klitschko was branded "an old man", "an army sergeant" and "a schoolteacher" by his unbeaten challenger, who at one point removed his jacket and appeared ready to fight there and then.

But there was no outward sign of alarm from the Ukrainian, who later told Sky Sports News HQ he was ready dish out a course of "therapy" in a renewal of his pre-fight promise when he met and beat David Haye in 2011.

"It was the most entertaining press conference in my 25 years of being involved in boxing," the IBF, WBA and WBO title-holder said. "His insecurity inside is covered with all the statements and a lot of nonsense that was said.

"I was shocked when he said he's going to go after the referee if the referee gives me any advantages. He's going to knock out the referee, I guess? I'm listening to this and I cannot believe what the man is saying.

"I can make him a better person, the way of treatment is going to be the fight. It's already started and it's going to continue. My therapy has already started. He just was at the doctor's office and got his first session.

"At the end of the day I will let my fists talk louder than any words at a press conference, and that's going to happen on October 24 in Dusseldorf."

Klitschko did acknowledge he faces "one of the toughest battles" since he was last defeated more than 11 years ago, saying: "I'm not underestimating Tyson Fury as a boxer.

"He's very unpredictable and probably doesn't know himself what kind of plan - A, B, C or D - he's going to have. He fights in both stances comfortably, his size and reach make it difficult, so I'm expecting a very competitive fight."
