Klitschko vs Fury: Tyson Fury winning over Wladimir Klitschko fans
Monday 23 November 2015 18:05, UK
Tyson Fury believes he is converting Wladimir Klitschko's fans to his cause ahead of Saturday's heavyweight showdown in Dusseldorf.
The Manchester fighter arrived in the German city on Sunday evening and is looking forward to taking on the giant Ukrainian for the WBA Super, WBO and IBF titles.
After his arrival at the airport, Fury told Sky Sports News HQ: "I had a great reception off the Brits travelling, wherever they are going to work on Monday morning, and I have had a lot of German fans coming over to me as well, having photographs.
"So it is a mixed group of people and I feel fantastic to be over here now. We are in the Christmas season and we are all going to have a very, very good Christmas.
"I think my personality speaks all languages, so I hope the people will get to know me a bit more over here in the week we get to stay here.
"Sixty-thousand people in Dusseldorf for the world heavyweight championship - it doesn't come any bigger. But this is my time to shine and I am taking those belts back to the UK.
"You know what I believe? I'm getting the feeling that the German people want a new champion, they don't want Klitschko any more, they have had enough of him. The time is a new time for a new change, and that new change is this man!"
You can see the final news conference for Klitschko v Fury on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday, with the build-up to Saturday's big fight continuing throughout the week.
