Brook vs Spence Jr: George Groves wants to celebrate with Chelsea team after winning a world title

George Groves hopes to end his long wait for a world title and then celebrate an FA Cup victory with his football team Chelsea.
The west Londoner is unable to watch Chelsea's FA Cup final against Arsenal as he faces Fedor Chudinov for the WBA 'super' title at Bramall Lane on May 27, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
But Groves hopes the Blues will complete a trophy double after clinching the Premier League crown last Friday and plans to savour his own title success by travelling down for Chelsea's celebrations.
"I just want to be there," Groves said. "I don't want to be on the bus, I want to be with everyone else watching the bus go past.
"It will be great. I'll have to probably get up early, which won't be nice, to get back home from Sheffield but it will be good.
"I was hoping they would move the cup final, but they didn't and it's a late kick-off as well, so I definitely can't do both that day. But I'll be watching on TV."
A rematch with DeGale could be next for Groves, if he becomes a world champion at the fourth attempt, and 'The Saint' believes he would produce a memorable second fight with his long-time rival.
Groves said: "We have personalities that gel and clash in the right way and I think it will be a totally different fight next time around. That's what is going to be the most intriguing thing.
"Maybe that's because we just want to punch each other so much. It could be good, it could be great."
But firstly the 29-year-old needs to overcome Chudinov and admits there will be no excuses after falling short in world title fights against Carl Froch and Badou Jack.
"I think this is certainly my best chance of winning a world title," said Groves. "I desperately want to fulfil that dream. "There will be no excuses, we're going to go out there and do the job.
"Every fight is a high-pressure fight, you can't afford to lose any in boxing, but let's be honest this is going to be the biggest one for me. I know that, I'm not afraid of that."
