Lawrence Okolie put on another explosive performance, stopping Lukasz Rusiewicz inside the first round.
The Hackney cruiserweight - who will be heading to Sheffield to spar with Anthony Joshua - did not quite finish it in 20 seconds, unlike his debut victory over Geoffrey Cave, with a big Glasgow crowd watching on, on Saturday night.
With a spot on the Joshua-Klitschko undercard at Wembley Stadium, live on Sky Sports Box Office, in two weeks' time, the 24-year-old added two more minutes of experience as he put Rusiewicz down twice, finally finishing him off after 2mins 38secs at the SSE Hydro.
It took Okolie almost a minute and a half to put experienced Pole down for the first time, a clubbing right doing the damage.
Rusiewicz was straight up but, moments later, a left to the body had him down for the second time.
It was a matter of when, not if, Okolie was going to blast to 2-0 but with nothing to lose, his opponent did catch him with an overhand right that seemed to rock him.
The Rio 2016 star simply made Rusiewicz pay the price, this time a hammering straight right seeing the Pole wobble and another shorter shot forcing the referee to step in.
