Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will fight for a lavish 'Money' belt which will be presented to the winner by the WBC.
Boxing legend Mayweather will meet UFC star McGregor in a lucrative match-up this weekend in Las Vegas, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and the World Boxing Council have decided to mark the event with their own commemorative belt.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman revealed the glittering strap at the pre-fight press conference, which is thought to be made up of 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds and 1.5kg of solid 24 carat gold.
"This is an event that has captured the attention of the world. Two different sports meet in the ring," said Sulaiman.
"Boxing will be in the eyes of millions around the world and for this fight the WBC has created the 'Money' belt for the winner."
Stephen Espinoza, executive vice president and general manager of American Television network 'Showtime', had earlier predicted that the clash between two combat codes would be the "widest distributed PPV in history."
