Mayweather vs McGregor: Weight struggles denied by Conor McGregor who expects 15lbs advantage

Conor McGregor will have a weight advantage of "at least 15lbs" against Floyd Mayweather on Saturday night, according to his team.

Mayweather's accusation that McGregor is struggling to meet the 154lbs limit for Friday's weigh-in was also rejected.

He will, without a doubt, be heavier than Floyd - at least 15lbs.
Conor McGregor's nutritionist

"His cut couldn't be going better," McGregor's nutritionist George Lockhart, who oversees his weight, exclusively told Sky Sports.

Asked if McGregor wanted a size advantage in the ring, Lockhart said: "Yes. He will, without a doubt, be heavier than Floyd - at least 15lbs."

In Las Vegas before the weigh-in

McGregor is currently the UFC lightweight (155lbs) champion, and has also won the featherweight (145lbs) title.

Mayweather's last four fights have been at welterweight (147lbs) but he notably fought Oscar De La Hoya and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez at 154lbs.
