Welsh ace has no interest in a rematch with Hopkins

Joe Calzaghe has insisted that he will not fight Bernard Hopkins for a second time despite the Exectioner's victory over Kelly Pavlik in Atlantic City. The 43-year-old Hopkins proved he is far from finished by outclassing Pavlik and inflicting a heavy points defeat on the previous unbeaten middleweight champion. Hopkins wasted little time in calling out Calzaghe for a rematch, having lost the first contest between the two on points. However Calzaghe, who puts his unbeaten record on the line against Roy Jones Jnr on November 8, has no interest in fighting Hopkins again. Calzaghe told The Sun: "If I beat Roy I've achieved everything I wanted to. "I don't think I have anything else to prove and I will also have run out of opponents! "Everybody was screaming about Pavlik but I was happy to see him exposed by Hopkins. "We all saw what I already knew about him and it puts my win over Hopkins into perspective. "You can forget about a rematch with Hopkins as that's definitely not one the fans would look forward to. "He sent everyone to sleep when we fought in April so I don't think anything's going to happen a second time."
