Heavyweight desperate to resurrect his career

Audley Harrison returns to the ring on Saturday night determined to deliver the goods. The former Olympic gold medallist, who has crashed to defeats against Michael Sprott, Dominick Guinn and Danny Williams in his last seven bouts, will take on Mark Rogan in a heavyweight showdown at London's Excel Arena live on Sky Box Office. Despite failing to win back disillusioned former fans in recent fights, he is predicting something akin to his victory over Richel Hersisia for the World Boxing Federation heavyweight title back in 2004. "I think my skills, my technique, my fundamentals are back in place from Richel Hersisia. So I'm expecting a Richel Hersisia-type performance," Harrison told Sky Sports News. "Rogan's a rough, tough guy so I'm going to have to tame him, put him in a box and drown him. It's going to be an exciting fight. "Styles make fights and he's got a great style for my kind of style. He's going to come forward and he's going to be walking on to my arsenal. "His chin hasn't been tested yet. He covers up a lot. He's not a guy who just leaves his face there so that bodes well for me. "The main thing for me is I'm in great shape and I'm turning up all guns blazing and hopefully the crowd will be happy with the victory."
