WBA light-welterweight champion careful to avoid slanging match
Andreas Kotelnik has said he will let his fists do the talking when he puts his WBA light-welterweight title on the line against Amir Khan.
The Ukrainian has been installed as an underdog for the bout in Manchester on Saturday, despite being the champion.
He has made two successful defences since capturing the title against Gavin Rees in March of last year.
And, as he concludes his preparations for the eagerly-anticipated clash, Kotelnik has refused to get into a war of words with his British opponent.
"I don't want to yell like Amir Khan and I will show in the ring who is the best," Kotelnik told
Sky Sports News.
The 31-year-old has 31 wins on his record so far, 13 of which have come by way of knockout, along with two losses and one draw.
Khan, 22, has scored 20 victories - 15 by knockout - and one loss, meanwhile, and comes into the bout on the back of the biggest win of his career so far against Mexican great Marco Antonio Barrera.
