The boy from Bolton defends his WBA Light-Welterweight title against Marcos Maidana at the Mandalay Bay.
Khan made his is Stateside debut at Madison Square Garden in May but says there is no better feeling than seeing his name on the billboards of Sin City, the boxing capital of the world.
"It feels good," he told
Sky Sports News. "I think every fighter's dream is to box in Las Vegas. It's the mecca of boxing.
"I was walking on the The Strip and to see my name lit up in lights under a big poster and a banner for Amir Khan versus Maidana, is brilliant. To be here at the age of 23, this is like a dream.
"Over the last 10 or 20 years the biggest fights have been in Vegas; Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather and recently Ricky Hatton.
"For me to top the bill at 23 here, I'm probably one of the youngest ever British fighters to do that and it means a lot to me."
Khan's fight with hard-hitting Maidana is the third defence of the title he took of Andriy Kotelnik in Manchester two years ago and will be shown on HBO in the States.
And with British fans tuning in back home and the rest of the boxing world waiting to see if he can pass the tast, he is determined to use the biggest stage of all to showcase his skills.
"I'm defending my world title and I want to keep that but in a way I've always wanted to fight here," he said.
"I want to show the world how good Amir Khan is."
