"Stone Cold" to host WWE's upcoming reality television show

On the latest instalment of WWE SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero made a shock announcement concerning the use of Edge's spear manoeuvre. Just days ahead of the hugely anticipated Royal Rumble event on Sky Box Office, Team Rated RKO clashed with The Awesome One and Dolph Ziggler in a Champions and Challengers Tag Team Match. As the result of injuries sustained last week, SmackDown GM Teddy Long was unable to return to his duties this week. As a result, Vickie Guerrero announced that she was the "acting" General Manager. When Dolph Ziggler took issue with Randy Orton's disrespectful interruption of his girlfriend, The Viper nailed him with a devastating RKO. In the main event, Edge defeated his adversary with a crushing Spear. However, as a result, an irate Vickie Guerrero used her authority to ban The Rated-R Superstar's finishing manoeuvre until further notice, declaring that if Edge uses the Spear in his Royal Rumble title match, he will be disqualified and lose the World Title. Following the shock announcement, The Ultimate Opportunist hit Ziggler with three defiant Spears both inside and outside the ring. Two weeks after being attacked by The Corre, Big Show returned, preparing to win his first Royal Rumble Match. When The Corre surrounded the ring, the huge Superstar challenged each of them to face him one-on-one. First, Heath Slater attacked The World's Largest Athlete from behind, initiating a match. After the giant defeated "The One Man Rock Band" with a chokeslam, he set his sights on Barrett, Jackson and Gabriel. The new faction gained the advantage, but not for long as a number of WWE Superstars charged to the ring to send them packing. In other news, WWE announced via it's website that WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will host the upcoming reality series "WWE Tough Enough." The non-scripted series will premiere Monday, April 4 immediately following WWE's flagship Monday Night Raw programme. Next week, WWE SmackDown emanates from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York. See all the aftermath from this Sunday's Royal Rumble next Friday Night from 9pm on Sky Sports HD4.
