Errol Spence Jr warns he'll go toe to toe with Kell Brook if he has to - as the two prepare for Saturday's world title fight in Sheffield

Errol Spence Jr is adamant he will handle Kell Brook and his partisan Bramall Lane crowd.

The American challenger will be fighting in front of the biggest crowd of his career as he challenges for the IBF world welterweight title on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Brook is a well-known Sheffield United fan and with the Blades winning League One, thousands of fans will be there, but Spence Jr has warned the partisan support they will only fuel his ambition.

"It's going to be motivation, everybody going against me and wanting to see Kell Brook win," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"That's all motivation for me, and will get me going looking to win this title fight.

"I'm prepared for it. Pressure makes diamonds and that's what being a true fighter is about - being in hostile grounds and coming out on top. That's what I am going to do to win this.

"This is going to be the first of many titles I am going to get this year."

The Sheffield star is already dropping down two weight classes to defend his title and is fighting for the first time since his brutal fight with middleweight supremo Gennady Golovkin.

"Our styles are going to clash and it's going to be an exciting fight from there. I'll do whatever is necessary to win," said Spence Jr.
