England's pursuit champion Joanna Rowsell goes in search of another cycling title in the 10 km scratch on the third day of competition at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 25-year-old powered to individual pursuit gold in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Friday and will now go in search of her second gold medal of the games.

England's triumphant individual triathletes will be bidding for a clean-sweep when they compete in the sprint distance mixed team relay, an event that makes its Games debut.

Brothers Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee, gold and silver medallists in the men's individual, head up a team that also includes the gold and bronze medallists in the women's discipline, Jodie Stimpson and Vicky Holland.

Elsewhere, there are five golds available on the last day of the judo tournament.

Scotland flag bearer Euan Burton will be out to bring the curtain down on his career with under 100kgs gold.

It was the English who dominated Friday at the SECC, with three from four golds available, but Burton will be determined to come good for the host nation.

Burton, 35, came out of retirement when the opportunity presented itself to fight for Scotland in Glasgow, and the twice world championship bronze medallist has chosen to step up two weights after moving into coaching following London 2012.

Northern Ireland's Mark Montgomery could face Burton in their Pool final, while Ruslan Rancev will lead Wales' challenge.

Gibbons return

Burton's wife Gemma Gibbons, the London Olympic silver medallist, will look to mark her return from injury with victory in the women's under 70kgs.

At under-90kgs, Andrew Burns and Matthew Purssey will fight for Scotland, while Gary Hall competes for England.

It's also a big day for weightlifting with England's Zoe Smith going head-to-head against Wales' double Commonwealth gold medallist Michaela Breeze in the women's 58kg category.

Five golds will be decided in the shooting where England's 10m air pistol star Michael Gault attempts to equal the all-time Commonwealth Games record of 18 medals.

In the pool, Australia's Cate Campbell and England's Fran Halsall will duel for gold in the women's 50m freestyle while Olympic gold medallist Chad le Clos of South Africa swims in the 200 metres butterfly, looking to retain the title he won four years ago in Delhi.
