The patented Switchlock Technology means you can quickly and easily change lenses in order to adapt to the current conditions - a much-needed function when playing during an inclement English summer! Changing the lenses couldn't be simpler, either.There is a well-camouflaged hinge that can be released simply by flipping up the nose pads and opening the "jaw". From there, the lenses smoothly slide out and back in again. I did it while the bowler was running in to bowl! What you immediately notice, or don't notice, is how light in weight the Jawbones are. When you are fielding, or bowling - as is often the case with KP - it is important you are not distracted and in no way does this product compromise your performance. Another superb feature of the Jawbones is the 'smudge-resistant barrier'. Finger prints, skin oils, lotions and sunscreens are all repelled by Oakley Hydrophobic- a permanent lens coating. I was definitely the envy of my team-mates when I strolled out in the Jawbones for a recent weekend fixture, although I was fined heavily for having 'all the gear and no idea'.
