South Africa have recalled fast bowler Vernon Philander to their squad for the forthcoming one-day series against New Zealand and Australia.
The 29-year-old replaces Mthokozisi Shezi after missing the recent triangular series in Zimbabwe, which also included Australia, due to a hamstring injury.
There are no other changes to the 15-man squad after the Proteas comfortably defeated Australia by six wickets in Harare in the final of the triangular series.
Fast bowler Kyle Abbott retains his place as Beuran Hendricks remains on the sidelines with a long-term injury.
South Africa will play three one-day internationals in New Zealand in late October before heading to Australia for three Twenty20 intermationals and five ODIs.
JP Duminy will captain South Africa in the T20 games, with the likes of AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel all rested.
Uncapped trio Reeza Hendricks, Rilee Rossouw and Kagiso Rabada have been included in the 14-man T20 squad.
South Africa will play at four of the venues they will be using at next year's World Cup during the tour.
"We are very happy with the progress and momentum the team has established over the last couple of months, first in Sri Lanka and then in Zimbabwe," said CSA selection convener Andrew Hudson.
"We have another 13 ODIs before we head to the World Cup to round off our preparation.
"We have decided to rest some of our core senior players who are involved in all three formats.
"It is the only opportunity we have to ease their workload in what is going to be a very busy and intense summer season."
