Sri Lanka could have a secret weapon when they play England in the Under 19 World Cup - a spinner who can bowl with both hands!

The ambidextrous Kamindu Mendis is equally capable of bowling slow-left arm as he is right-arm orthodox, as he proved when switching between the two against Pakistan.

England will come up against him on Sunday in their World Cup quarter-final - but must be wary of the 17-year-old's batting as well as his bowling.

Mendis, a natural left-hander, scored 68 against Pakistan, displaying his unorthodox skills once again by playing the reverse sweep. WORLD CUP FIXTURES/RESULTS
