Australia fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus has announced his retirement from first-class cricket.
The 32-year-old, who has confirmed he will continue to play in the Twenty20 format, claimed health reasons were behind the decision.
Hilfenhaus, quoted by Cricket Tasmania, said: "I feel like I have been blessed and honoured to represent Tasmania and Australia. It was a childhood dream and I'm very grateful."
The right-arm paceman, known for his ability to swing the ball at pace, played a total of 104 first-class matches. He took 99 wickets in 27 Tests, making his debut in 2009 against South Africa.
He had a spell in county cricket with Nottinghamshire last summer.
However, Hilfenhaus has not worn the baggy green since Australia faced Sri Lanka in Hobart more than three years ago - and has struggled recently with hamstring issues.
