In the latest Sky Cricket Podcast, Rob Key is joined by special guest Andrew Flintoff to discuss Alastair Cook’s resignation, the future of domestic T20 cricket and why there is no such thing as a yorker anymore.
As a former England captain himself, Flintoff discusses his time in a role, describing it as "the worst job" he's ever had, plus his decision to call up Cook for the first time, back in 2006.

"He flew over from the West Indies the night before the game," Flintoff explained. "Duncan Fletcher wanted to open the batting with Matt Prior but I said I wanted Alastair Cook.
"I'd never even seen him play but there was just something about him that was different: the way in he carried himself, the way he went about his business. He was an impressive lad.
"When I was England captain I didn't make too many right decisions but I did pick him."
After looking over Cook's time in charge and assessing his likely successor, Joe Root, the talk moved to T20 cricket with Key and Flintoff giving differing views on whether a city-based T20 competition would be a good thing for English cricket.
Flintoff also talks about how he rediscovered his love of the game after years of trying to ignore it following his retirement, his admiration for Virat Kohli and why bowling to MS Dhoni was no problem but Yuvraj Singh was another matter altogether!
