South Africa beat New Zealand by 6 wkts Justin Kemp starred as hosts South Africa beat New Zealand by six wickets at the ICC World Twenty20. Craig McMillan once again top-scored for the Black Caps as Daniel Vettori's side stuttered to 153-8 after being put in to bat. Despite the loss of early wickets, Kemp (89 not out) lived a charmed life to take the Proteas to victory, which all but assures them of qualification to Saturday's semi-final. England have been eliminated from the tournament meanwhile, with India now needing to beat Paul Collingwood's team and then the hosts if they are to stand any chance of getting through. Morne Morkel took four wickets for just 17 to restrict the Black Caps to their chaseable total, with Johannes van der Wath also picking up two wickets. Only McMillan (48 not out), Lou Vincent (32) and Jacob Oram (15) made it into double figures for the Kiwis, who never really had enough runs on the board.
