Pace bowler Ajmal Shahzad has been handed his England debut in the second and final Test match against Bangladesh at Old Trafford. The Yorkshire quick has beaten off competition from Ryan Sidebottom to replace injured county team-mate Tim Bresnan in the starting XI. The 24-year-old comes in as the third seamer in a four-man attack, however he will have to wait for his chance to impress after captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh have made two changes from the side which bravely went down to an eight-wicket defeat in the first Test at Lord's. Pace duo Rubel Hossain and Robiul Islam have been replaced by seamer Shafiul Islam and left-arm off-spinner Abdur Razzaq.
