When Somerset batsman Peter Trego connected with a slog sweep in his side’s T20 Blast clash with Hampshire the fielders would have been interested in a catch for just a split the second.
The ball flew high into the sky but it kept travelling into the Ageas Bowl stands, leaving the only people interested in claiming a catch in the crowd.
And that’s exactly what happened as one fan pulled himself away from a pint with his mates to cling on to a sensational catch.
