Kumar Sangakkara hit an elegant hundred for Surrey, but his running between the wickets was uglier as he smashed into his stumps.
In the Royal London One-Day Cup semi-final against Nottinghamshire, Sangakkara scored a sublime 166 from 138 balls, but was almost run-out when looking to get off the mark.
Desperately diving to make his ground, Sangakkara survived, but the stumps didn't as he clattered into all three.
