Worcestershire completed the highest successful run-chase in English one-day cricket thanks to debutant Callum Ferguson's incredible 192 from 143 balls against Leicestershire in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Set 377 to win, the Rapids lost Moeen Ali for a duck but with Ferguson, an overseas replacement for Travis Head, assisted by half-centuries from Joe Clarke (62), Daryl Mitchell (50) and Brett D'Oliveira (54no), they won the game with 16 balls to spare.

Ben Raine had top-scored with 83 and he was one of four Leicestershire batsmen to pass fifty, Paul Horton (79), Matt Cosgrove (70) and Colin Ackermann (71no) the others as they posted 376-4.

However, Ferguson's career-best List A score helped Worcestershire to their highest one-day total and a six-wicket win, their fourth victory in five matches, to keep them top of the North Group. SCORECARD

In the South Group, Kent claimed a 28-run (DLS) victory over Somerset in a rain-hit game at Canterbury.

When play belatedly began the match had been reduced to 42 over per side, and when Somerset were reduced to 65-5 it looked as though they might be struggling to even bat those overs out.

Matt Renshaw (56) and Lewis Gregory (60) started the recovery though, putting on 103 for the sixth wicket, to help the visitors up to 221-9 with Matt Henry (3-27) and Craig Haggett (3-42) taking three wickets apiece for Kent.

Opener Daniel Bell-Drummond was dismissed in the first over of Kent's chase but Joe Denly and Heino Kuhn took them to 88-1 before the rain returned and brought the game to a premature end with the hosts comfortably ahead on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern. SCORECARD

Elsewhere, Surrey and Sussex took a share of the points after their game at The Oval was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
