Yorkshire will be without Jake Lehmann for next week's Specsavers County Championship Division One title decider with Middlesex.

The batsman has been recalled by South Australia, which leaves the Tykes with a hole to fill in their top order.

Lehmann - son of Australia coach Darren - joined Yorkshire in August on a short-term deal to replace Travis Head, who was called into the Australia squad.

He was a big hit at Headingley and, in what turned out to be his final match for the county, scored a century in this week's defeat to Somerset.

Middlesex edge closer to title after draw at Lancashire

Yorkshire go into the final match of the season nine points behind Middlesex, and they must win to retain their title. Somerset are also in with an outside chance of winning what would be their first County Championship crown.

They will not be able to replace Lehmann with either Joe Root or Jonny Bairstow, who are rested on England's orders.

Lehmann tweeted: "What a great experience! Loved every second playing for these boys. Get the job done next week."
