Lancashire have signed Australian batsman Jake Lehmann for their final two Royal London One-Day Cup matches as a replacement for compatriot Glenn Maxwell.

Maxwell will return home to link up with Australia's World Cup squad following Lancashire's game against Durham on Tuesday but will return for the Vitality Blast and Specsavers County Championship later in the season.

Lehmann - the son of former Australia batsman and head coach Darren Lehmann - will be available for the games with Derbyshire on Thursday and Warwickshire on Sunday.

The 26-year-old - who has averaged 31.09 in his 26 List A games to date - would also be free for the knockout rounds of the One-Day Cup should Lancashire qualify.

The Old Trafford side are third in the North Group with three wins and two defeats from their five games.
