Siddle joins the greats with his hat-trick at the Gabba

Peter Siddle's hat-trick at the Gabba was the fifth by an Australian in the Ashes - and the first outside Melbourne. Siddle, who removed Alastair Cook, Matt Prior and Stuart Broad in quick succession, follows Fred Spofforth, Hugh Trumble (twice) and Shane Warne in tormenting the English. All four previous feats happened at the MCG, though, with Siddle's heroics breaking the trend.
