Steven Finn called up by England to replace Chris Woakes

Steven Finn has been called-up by England to replace the injured Chris Woakes, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the Champions Trophy.

Woakes suffered a left side strain in England's opening Group A match against Bangladesh on Thursday, hurting himself in just his second over of the match.

Middlesex fast bowler Finn has now been confirmed as his replacement, after taking 2-49 for the England Lions on Saturday against South Africa A.

Finn, who was part of the England side which reached the final of the Champions Trophy four years ago, has got the call-up ahead of county team-mate Toby Roland-Jones.
