Bilal Asif has been reported for having a suspect bowling action less than 24 hours after winning the man of the match award in Pakistan's ODI victory against Zimbabwe in Harare.
The 30-year-old off-spinner took 5-25 during Pakistan's seven-wicket victory on Monday, but he will now have his action scrutinised by the International Cricket Council in the next two weeks, although he will still be allowed to play.
Asif, who also scored 38 runs in the third and final ODI as Pakistan clinched the series 2-1, was only contesting his second ODI after making his debut two days earlier.
Match officials, however, cited concerns about the legality of Asif's bowling action in their report and an ICC statement read: "He is required to undergo testing within 14 days and, during this period, Bilal is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the testing are known."
Asif is the third Pakistani off-spinner to be reported for a suspect bowling action following Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez.
