A fifth Pakistan international has been suspended for alleged corruption, with Karachi Kings opener Shahzaib Hasan the latest player to be charged.

Hasan made the last of his 13 international appearances in 2010 and joins Mohammad Irfan, Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan and Nasir Jamshed in being withdrawn as part of an ongoing probe into the Pakistan Super League.

Peshawar Zalmi, featuring England bowler Chris Jordan and Middlesex batsman Dawid Malan, defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final in Lahore on March 5.

A PCB statement read: "The Pakistan Cricket Board has today issued Shahzaib Hasan a Notice of Charge and provisionally suspended him with immediate effect from participating in all forms of cricket.

"Shahzaib has been charged with violations of Code Articles 2.1.4, 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 and now has 14 days to respond to the Notice of Charge.
