Sri Lanka have included paceman Nuwan Kulasekara in a 15-man squad for the five-match one-day series against South Africa.
Kulasekara has been sidelined since August with a succession of leg injuries but is now fit enough to join the touring party for the series which gets underway on January 11.
Lasith Malinga, now retired from Tests, returns as expected along with Upul Tharanga and Kosala Kulasekara, while spinners Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis will stay on after the ongoing third Test has concluded.
However there are no places for Chanaka Welegedara, Kaushal Silva, Thilan Samaraweera, Tharanga Paranavitana, Dimuth Karunaratne and Kanishka Alvitigala, who will depart after the Cape Town Test.
Suraj Randiv, Jeevan Mendis and Seekkuge Prasanna, who were in the limited overs squad against Pakistan previously, were overlooked.
