Pace bowler comes into ODI squad after Kulasekara injury

Sri Lanka have called up Nuwan Pradeep to replace the injured Nuwan Kulasekara for the remaining four one-day internationals against India. Pradeep comes in after fellow seamer Kulasekara suffered a groin injury in the first contest at Hambantota, which India won by 21 runs. The 25-year-old will join up with the rest of the squad soon after arriving in his home country from Zimbabwe. "He has been part of the Sri Lanka A team that took part in the one-day tri-series in Zimbabwe and having played against Pakistan in the recent Test series we thought he will be the most likely replacement," chairman of selectors Ashantha de Mel said. Pradeep played in all three of the Tests against Pakistan but is yet to make his one-day international debut. The second match in the series takes place on Tuesday.
