Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe each feel they should be the No 1 contender to the NXT Title after Wednesday's Triple Threat Match ended in controversy.

Baron Corbin tapped out while caught in Zayn's Sharpshooter and Joe's Coquina Clutch, leading to both Zayn and Joe believing they had earned the right to face current champion Finn Balor.

NXT General Manager William Regal came down to the ring to deal with the dispute and now plans to review video evidence this week before announcing who Balor's next opponent will be.

Elsewhere at Full Sail University, American Alpha - Chad Gable and Jason Jordan - defeated Blake and Murphy, while Nia Jax squashed Liv Morgan and "The Drifter" Elias Samson bested John Skyler with a swinging neckbreaker.

Alex Riley, meanwhile, made a triumphant return to the ring, defeating Bull Dempsey with a high knee in his first match since April 2015.
