India captain Rahul Dravid wants his side continue their winning streak with victory over England at the Oval on Wednesday.
After India's Duckworth-Lewis win at Headingley on Sunday brought the score in the seven-match NatWest Series back to 3-2, the tourists need to win the final two games to snatch the silverware.
And Dravid looks to their back-to-back victories over South Africa in the Future Cup in Northern Ireland earlier this summer as proof they can achieve their aim.
"These games are tough games, must-win games - and it is important how you cope in them," Dravid told PA Sport on Tuesday.
"We coped really well in Ireland. We had to win two back-to-back against South Africa. We did that, and it would be great if we could go one better and win three in a row.
"That starts with tomorrow - and will happen only if we play good cricket."
Injuries
While India are hoping to pick from a fully fit squad, England have injury problems, with Andrew Flintoff a doubt after suffering more aggravation from his troublesome left ankle.
His fellow all-rounder Ravi Bopara was ruled out of the NatWest Series on Tuesday with a broken thumb and Chris Tremlett is also missing at the Oval with a foot problem.
But Dravid does not believe England's injuries or India's winning momentum from Leeds will significantly help the tourists.
"I'm sure they have got decent and adequate replacements as well in the one-day game, and fresh faces coming in sometimes helps," he said.
"In one-day cricket, it really makes very little difference what the result of the last game was. It's just the performance on the day that is important."
Dravid admits his team have not played to their potential so far in this series and knows they must be on top of their game if they are to beat a resurgent England.
"We have been a bit inconsistent in our one-day performances, and the challenge is to back up one good showing with another," he said.
