Former Australia batsman John Dyson has accepted the job as West Indies coach. Dyson, who led Sri Lanka for two years from 2003, takes over from temporary coach David Moore, who has been in charge since Bennett King quit following the World Cup. "The rest of the team management would be identified and appointed subsequently," read a statement from the West Indies board. Dyson, who played 30 Tests for Australia in the late 70s and early 80s, is likely to take control of the team ahead of their tour of South Africa starting in December.
