Lancashire have signed Lou Vincent as their overseas player for the Twenty20 Cup, subject to a work permit being granted. The New Zealand batsman, 29, is currently playing club cricket for Ramsbottom in the Lancashire League and has plenty of Twenty20 experience having participated in the Indian Cricket League. "I'm delighted to get the opportunity to play in the Twenty20 Cup for Lancashire," Vincent told the county's official website. "Twenty20 cricket is a format which suits my game, and I can't wait to play my part in a successful campaign for the club." Lancashire were left with a vacancy for an overseas player when Brad Hodge was called-up to Australia's tour of the Caribbean. Hodge was initially replaced by Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf, who returned home for his country's triangular one-day series in Bangladesh after a short-stint at Old Trafford.
