New Zealand lose all-rounder for series decider

New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram has been ruled out of the second Test against Bangladesh due to a back injury. Oram will fly home after picking up the problem during last week's first-Test win in Chittagong. New Zealand are keen for the 30-year-old to have the injury properly assessed ahead of November's tour of Australia. "Oram is flying back because of a sore back and we are not sure about the extent of his injury but he has a history of back problems so the people who know his injury and have dealt with it will assess him again," New Zealand team manager Lindsay Crocker told AFP. The second and final Test starts in Mirpur on Saturday with all-rounder Grant Elliott or seam bowler Mark Gillespie likely to fill in for Oram.
