Sajedul Islam has been drafted into Bangladesh's 15-man squad for the upcoming two-Test series against South Africa.
The left-arm seamer, who played in the Test matches against New Zealand earlier this year, has been recalled following an injury to Syed Rasel.
Another left-armer, Rasel has been plagued by various injury problems, this time aggravating a back problem during the recent one-day series against the Proteas.
Islam is expected to arrive in South Africa early next week, with the first Test starting on Wednesday in Bloemfontain.
