Pakistan great to coach on tour of Australia

Pakistan have appointed Waqar Younis as a bowling and fielding coach for their forthcoming tour of Australia. The 40-year-old was previously employed as a bowling coach in the Pakistan set-up between March 2006 and January 2007. However, he quit that post after his commission was restricted only to a Test series against South Africa. Waqar, who retired from all forms of cricket in April 2004, will now assist coach Intikhab Alam during Pakistan's tour which starts later in the month and comprises three Tests and five one-day internationals. During his international career, Waqar, a former Pakistan captain, claimed a total of 373 Test and 416 ODI wickets.
