Lucy Garner came home in a creditable 45th place on the final stage of the Lotto Belisol in Belgium.
Having achieved two top ten finishes in the three preceding stages, the Sky Academy Sports Scholar put in another good display on a stage that was always going to be tough for a sprinter.
Garner's Team Giant-Shimano team-mate Amy Pieters finished sixth to move up to fifth in the general classification.
Garner ended the stage a little over two and a half minutes behind the leaders but could be happy with her performance as she earned praise from team coach Hans Timmermans.
"As a team we were present today, and when we needed to ride together they did a good job," he told Team Giant-Shimano's official website.
"Lucy also did a good ride today, getting over the Muur in the front group the first time up it, which for a sprinter is rare. She was happy with her ride today."
